Ancient collection

As an artist, I depicted the national pride birds—the falcon and the trotting partridge—from 13th-century silk patterns in my works. I carved these images into leather, embedded them into a ceramic (clay) plate, and framed them with copper lighting. I then transformed this imagery into a leather embossing and crafted a chest, presenting the whole as a single collection piece.”
Inspired by the image of a peacock depicted on a Xiongnu bronze artefact, I created a leather embossing. This embossing is the front panel of a chest.
